PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Course Description

How well do you make quality decisions when emotions are involved? Are you rational and objective when solving problems? Do you let your emotions cloud your objectivity?

As a leader, decision-making is a foundational skill that you must master. This skill is challenging to learn in the best of situations, and when emotions are involved, it takes a keen sense of awareness to handle skillfully. In leadership, you are confronted with a daily variety of problems and decisions that require a rational, thoughtful response grounded with good emotional awareness.

Effective decision making means that you can grasp and handle issues and mindfully formulate practical solutions, control your impulses that may derail your decision-making skills, and deal realistically with situations as they arise.

This workshop walks you through a proven model to decipher and weigh your options, ultimately leading to good, deliberate decisions. You will learn about the different decision-making styles and understand how your EQ plays a role in comprehensive decision making. You will walk away with practical decision-making tools to apply to your work immediately.
